Album Review: Papercuts - You Can Have What You Want
Papercuts - You Can Have What You Want
01. Once We Walked In The Sunlight
02. A Dictator's Lament
03. The Machine Will Tell Us So
04. A Peculiar Hallelujah
05. Jet Plane
06. Dead Love
07. Future Primitive
08. You Can Have What You Want
09. The Void
10. The Wolf
Standout Tracks: Future Primitive / Jet Plane / Once We Walked In The Sunlight
Sensing a little less pop than what was on 2007's Can't Go Back, but with a little more psych, which is fine by me. Also, if I remember correctly, this was all recorded on old analog equipment, which is pretty sweet. Anyway, You Can Have What You Want is out 4/14 via Gnomonsong.
* Album reviews are composed only after a few listens. Yes, opinions may change over time, but most first impressions (fortunately or unfortunately) seem to stick/hold true.
