As I'm sure you've already heard, Memphis based musician, Jimmy Lee Lindsey, Jr. aka Jay Reatard, died in his sleep yesterday morning. He was 29 years old. Though I can't say I was too familiar with his material, I did happen to catch part of his set at Pitchfork Fest 2008 and dug it. In memory of this unfortunate loss, check out a short documentary about Jay, along with a few mp3s below.
