J. Tillman played an intimate solo set, to a slightly talkative crowd, tonight at the Empty Bottle. Debuting six new tunes, Josh kept things very simple on these somber jams. I can't say I'm as into these new one's as much as some older goodies, but it was still a nice set. The forthcoming release, Singing Ax, is out 9/14 via Western Vinyl.
