Here's a video of Fleet Foxes performing a brand new tune, "Silver City," the other night in New York. Boy am I bummed that their Chicago show at the Metro this weekend is sold out. The new self-titled release, Fleet Foxes, is out now via Sub Pop.
As I stated a few weeks ago, Coldplay will be releasing a new EP, Lost!, on 11/10, however, another EP, Prospekt's March, will also be available come November. Cotton Jones just posted a free download of "Chewing Gum (Concrete Tooth Mix)" up on myspace. Apparently this version is off The River Strumming, a record which was just released (vinyl/mp3) two weeks ago via St. Ives. Check it out below, along with the album art and tracklist. A new EP, The Rio Ranger, is out in late November via Quite Scientific and the debut full-length, Paranoid Cocoon, is due out in early 2009 via Suicide Squeeze.
