Reports have been floating around twitter today that 45-year-old Athens, Georgia based singer-songwriter, Vic Chesnutt, was in a coma after an alleged suicide attempt. Unfortunately now it is being reported that Vic has passed away. So so sad. A new album, At The Cut, had just been released this past September, via Constellation and a fall tour had just finished a few weeks ago.
* UPDATE: it has been confirmed that Vic passed away around 3pm on December 25th (via Constellation)
