Seabear at Schubas (04.02.10)

Icelandic indie pop group, Seabear wrapped up their first ever tour in the States tonight, to a nearly (if not) sold out crowd at Schubas. Playing a few old, but mostly new tunes off the brand new release, We Built A Fire, out now via Morr Music. Really enjoyed hearing my favorite tune, "Fire Dies Down," off the new record, though the ending was slightly faster. Sóley aka Sóley Stefánsdóttir of Seabear, along with three other members, started things off with a lovely, but brief 20 minute set. Chicago's Via Tania followed, but unfortunately I found myself pretty bored after a few songs.
